Polyimide tape is made of polyimide film(PI Film, Kapton Film) as the backing and coated with silicone or acrylic adhesive single-sided or double-sided.

The polyimide film can be ESD treated. Different thicknesses to meet different applications. Common colors are Amber(Brown) and black.

Red, Green, and White colors can be customized.

Polyimide Tape Features and Applications

Polyimide tape has high and low-temperature resistance, acid, and alkali resistance, solvent resistance, electrical insulation (H class), radiation resistance, and other properties. Suitable for electronic circuit board wave soldering shielding, protective finger and high-grade electrical insulation, motor insulation, and lithium battery positive and negative ear fixing.

In the electronic and electrical industry can be used for higher requirements of the H class motor and transformer coil insulation, high-temperature coil end bandage fixed, temperature resistance protection, capacitance, and wire entanglement, and other adhesive insulation under high-temperature working conditions.

In the circuit board manufacturing industry can be used for electronic protection paste, especially suitable for SMT temperature protection, electronic switches, PCB gold finger protection, electronic transformers, relays, and other high-temperature and moisture protection of electronic components.
