Double-sided Hot-melt Tape

Double-sided hot melt tape is made with PET as backing, one side coated with acrylate adhesive, the other side coated with hot melt glue which is non-sticky at normal temperature, after hot pressing, it releases the adhesive and firmly adheres the aluminum-plastic film.

Double-sided Hot-melt Tape Applications

It is mainly used for bonding between the bare battery cells of soft pack batteries and the PP layer of aluminum-plastic film. The bonding parts include the bare battery cells' top, bottom, and tail, which can replace traditional termination tape and help improve the pass rate of lithium battery drop tests, enhancing battery stability and safety.
